These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the website https://pondicherrystays.com ("Website") and every booking made through it. The Website is owned and operated by Global Booking Tech ("we", "us", "our"), a proprietorship registered in Puducherry, India, trading as Paradise Groups. By making a booking you agree to these Terms.

1. What we offer

We offer short-stay accommodation at villas, homestays, guest houses and resorts in and around Pondicherry (Puducherry), Auroville and the East Coast of Tamil Nadu ("Properties"). A property may be booked as a whole, or, where shown on the Website, as individual rooms. Each property page states what is included, the number of rooms, the guest capacity and the applicable amenities.

2. Prices and taxes

• All rates are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) per night and are exclusive of GST. GST is calculated and shown separately before you pay. The rate shown on the Website at the time of booking is the rate charged.
• Sunday to Thursday nights are charged at the weekday rate; Friday and Saturday nights are charged at the weekend rate. Some properties are available only as a whole on Friday and Saturday nights.
• Rates may change at any time, but a confirmed booking is never re-priced.

3. Booking and payment

• A booking is confirmed only when the advance payment of 30% of the total amount (including GST) is received through our online payment partner, Razorpay, and a booking number is issued.
• The remaining 70% balance is payable at check-in at the property, by UPI, card, bank transfer or cash.
• Selected dates are held for 15 minutes while you complete payment. If payment is not completed within that time the dates are released.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. We do not store your card, UPI or bank details.
• A booking confirmation is shown on screen with your booking number and is sent to the email address provided, if any. Keep the booking number for all correspondence.

4. Check-in, check-out and house rules

• Check-in is from 12:00 noon and check-out is by 11:00 am unless otherwise agreed in writing. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may be charged.
• All guests must present valid government photo identification at check-in, as required by law. Foreign nationals must present a passport and valid visa.
• The number of guests must not exceed the capacity booked. Extra guests may be refused or charged.
• Guests are responsible for any damage to the property or its contents caused during their stay, and agree to pay the reasonable cost of repair or replacement.
• No loud music or noise after 10:00 pm. Illegal activities and any behaviour that disturbs neighbours or other guests are not permitted. We may end a stay without refund where these rules are seriously breached.
• Pets are welcome, but please tell us before you book so that the property can be prepared and permission confirmed.
• Smoking is allowed. Please be considerate of other guests and use ashtrays.

5. Cancellation, changes and refunds

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Date changes are treated as a cancellation followed by a new booking, unless we agree otherwise.

6. Our right to cancel

In rare cases (for example a property becoming unavailable due to damage, an emergency, or a technical error in availability) we may have to cancel a confirmed booking. In that case we will offer an equivalent alternative property or a full refund of the advance paid, and that is the limit of our liability.

7. Liability

We take reasonable care to keep the properties safe and as described. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of or damage to guests' belongings, for personal injury not caused by our negligence, or for indirect losses such as travel costs. Our total liability for any booking is limited to the amount paid to us for that booking.

8. Website use

The content, photographs and design of this Website belong to us or our licensors and may not be copied without permission. You must not use the Website to make fraudulent bookings or to interfere with its operation.

9. Privacy

Personal information you give us is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Puducherry. Before going to court, please contact us so that we can try to resolve the matter directly.
