Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Global Booking Tech (Paradise Groups, "we") collects through https://pondicherrystays.com, why we collect it, and how it is used and protected. It is written to comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 of India.

1. Information we collect

• Booking details you enter: your name, mobile number, email address (optional), the property, dates and number of guests.
• Payment information: payments are handled entirely by Razorpay. We receive only the payment reference, the amount and the payment status — never your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or bank login.
• Identity documents shown at check-in, as required by law for hotel guests. These are checked at the property and are not uploaded to the Website.
• Technical information your browser sends automatically, such as IP address and browser type, which our hosting provider logs for security.

2. Why we use it

• To confirm and manage your booking and to contact you about it by phone, WhatsApp, SMS or email.
• To process payments and refunds through Razorpay.
• To issue a tax invoice, and to keep the accounting records required by GST law.
• To prevent fraud and keep the Website secure.

We do not sell your information and we do not use it for third-party advertising. We will send marketing messages only if you ask for them, and you can opt out at any time.

3. Who we share it with

• Razorpay Software Private Limited — to process your payment (see Razorpay's own privacy policy).
• The property's on-site staff or caretaker — your name, phone number and arrival details, so they can receive you.
• Our hosting provider (Hostinger) — which stores the Website and its database in a secure data centre.
• Government authorities, when the law requires it.

4. Cookies

The guest booking pages do not use tracking cookies. A session cookie is used only on the staff sign-in page. Razorpay's payment window may set its own cookies, which are governed by Razorpay's policy.

5. How long we keep it

Booking and payment records are kept for the period required by Indian tax and accounting law (currently up to 8 years). Other information is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed.

6. Security

The Website is served over HTTPS. Access to booking data is limited to authorised staff with a password. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

7. Your rights

You may ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by writing to info@paradisegroups.in or calling +91 80569 54927. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

8. Children

Bookings may be made only by persons aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
